Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse ready to make a real difference in mental health care? The Illinois Department of Human Services is seeking highly motivated RNs to join our team at the Alton Mental Health Center. This is your opportunity to provide direct care and support to individuals living with mental illness while building a rewarding career in public service.

🩺 What You’ll Do:
• Deliver professional nursing care using the nursing process
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff
• Help maintain a therapeutic, secure, and sanitary environment
• Provide guidance to lower-level staff and assist with treatment plans

📚 What We’re Looking For:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate/Bachelor’s in Nursing)
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Illinois
• Strong communication skills and a passion for mental health care
