SUMMER CAMP COUNSELOR

The City of Greer is currently accepting applications for multiple Summer Camp Counselor positionsin the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department.

Responsibilities: Oversees and plans activities for youth, ages 6-13, as well as organizes and implements games/themed activities related to the camp. Counselors may be individually responsible for small groups of campers and/or participate in large group activities.

Job Requirements: Applicants must be attending or graduated from high school. Must be certified in CPR and first aid (classes may be offered). Must be able to drive a City of Greer mini bus (training will be available). Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks. Must have valid state issued driver’s license. Must be able to work all weeks that the camp is open during the summer.

Hours: Monday - Friday, hours will vary between 7:15 AM – 6:00 PM; up to 40 hours per week.

Salary: $15.33/hour

Summer Camp dates: Must be available June 9 – August 1, 2024 (closed July 1 st –July 5 th )
