As a Logistics Specialist within the Division of Health Protection, Emergency Preparedness Section at the Georgia Department of Public Health, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways.

Job Responsibilities
- Management of sensitive information
- Good customer service skills
- Time-management
- Flexibility, ability to be on call or respond during emergencies
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of warehouse ordering & packing processes and ability to perform them
- Familiarity with the Department of Public Health mission
- UPS WorldShip and FedEx Shipping Manager software experience
- Inventory management system experience
- Physical inventory counting
- Cold chain management procedures
- Knowledge of PPE types
- Vaccine storage & handling experience
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED AND One (1) year of job-related experience or completion of an apprenticeship/internship that sufficiently supplied experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position or any other combination of education and professional experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the job.
