Client Order Processor/Corporate Services

Job description

The Client Service Associate is the primary point of contact of the UCS Client Service Representatives. In this role they act as a liaison between state and local filing offices and correspondents. Candidate would ideal have a legal services background but not essential. Hours are 11am to 7pm Monday-Friday.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Communicates with internal Client Service Representatives, and other professionals to discuss assigned projects
  • Researches and analyzes statutes, regulations, legal articles, , and other sources
  • Prepares, organizes, stores, and retrieves files, which may include evidence, exhibits, tax filings, and other items
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Obtaining due diligence materials, such as corporate certificates of good standing, real estate and title information, process nationwide document retrieval requests, and securities filings
  • Organizing and tracking files for important transactions or documents, maintaining database
  • Provide a second line of defense in the quality control of our services by reviewing documents such as legal filings, letters, instructions, processes, etc
  • Develop professional relationships with all UCS filing agents and internal employees
  • Prepare and forward filings to the necessary jurisdictions and ensure proper processing, acknowledgement and return of evidence
  • Communicate effectively with the Client Service Representatives and correspondents to process, correct or update requests

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, , and other related matters
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Touch type required
  • Maintain high level of accuracy and efficiency in data entry
  • Ability to navigate quickly across multiple systems
